I have an 05 Savage, which is a similar frame to the Team DH and it is a 68. If I'm not mistaken all 05 Norcos are. Worst case if you have a 73 plug in a spacer...

Ah sheez read the post eh? Isn't it the crank that determines the spindle length and not the frame?

Haven't heard that before.
Can't imagine it would.

They used to specify it that way, though I might be old and delusional. Tell ya what - the Savage is pretty close to the team DH. I have Diabolous cranks on it. I'll pull them off in the morning and get the spindle size. I run a 1x7 setup that I cobbled together for a combo FR/DH/AM, but the chainline seems to work. Will post it out tomorrow morning some time, maybe it'll help..

That would be great....but....does the Savage run a 150mm rear hub?

This is my first frame with one and have no idea. :(

Yes 150, my first as well. There were some waves so I got distracted - let me go yank the thing now...

Probably should have done this 2 rum and cokes ago but...

OK here is the left hand crank and spindle;
http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/5435944/
a little distortion, but it's exactly 6" (yah I told my wife that too)

Now here is the entire drivetrain;
http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/5435947/

So the caveat, as Hunter Thompson said "I don't advocate the use of alcohol and drugs but they worked for me" or something like that, and my drivetrain is like that too. The left hand crank/spindle as I said is 6". On the right side I have an old school MRP chainguide, 3 spacers and the right hand crank. This is probably 2 spacers more than you will need. I know what you're saying; "John wtf with the extra 2 spacers?" Yep. Well my drivetrain is a 1x7, to get the 7 spd cassette on the 8 speed hub I had to move things a bit to the right. Why do I have a 7 spd cassette on an 8 spd hub? I probably had a few rum and cokes that day too, but actually it came off my old Dare and, like alcohol and drugs for HST it works for me ;-)

The Diabolus crank/bb doesn't list the spindle size but I hope this helps. It worked fine until I took it apart, and I hope when the buzz wears off and I reassemble it it still will! Time to pull the surfyaks off the roof...
