 Re: Who has ridden Catamount
I have. Catamount is cool place wit lots of potential. Don't get me wrong it is by no means hland or diablo, but could be. it is a great place for the beginner dh'er an the trails do have great flow ( especially streamline). My only issue with catamaount is the lift, it is quite slow, but that is it. Def worth checking out

 Re: Who has ridden Catamount
I had not heard much about it until I saw the $20 lift tickets deal. Checked it out on Google Maps and decided it was within reasonable distance. I must say it was well worth the trip. Keep in mind, I'm easily entertained, but the trails there were super fun and flowy, and there was still some steep technical stuff too. The amount of work that went into the trails was very noticable. I will definitely be going back before the season is over, and in comparison, I will not be returning to jiminy.

 Re: Who has ridden Catamount
Rode Catamount Saturday 8/14 for the first time. Great trails with enough variety for everyone except those who want to go really big. Not nearly as steep or rocky as Diablo, which was perfect for a newer DH/freerider like me. There were enough drops and jumps to challenge me without it getting too crazy. A good mix of fast, flowy trails as well as more technical runs. I kept coming up short on the tabletops at the bottom of the run, but finally nailed them by the end of the day. Thanks to Rich, Owen and Jullian who showed me around the trails. I'll be back this weekend!
